Trimspa Diet Debunked

Do the Trim Spa diet products work?
I don't know. I've never taken it and I never will. I don't trust the ingredients or the manufacturer. Their previous product featured ephedra, which has now been pulled from the market because of 16,000 negative side effects reported to the FDA.

What promises or claims do they make?
None. If you read the Trim Spa site, you'll notice they don't make any claims about their product. They do have testimonials on the site, including a major promotion around Anna Nicole Smith.

However...

These testimonials are followed by this disclaimer:

"The statements contained on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, mitigate or cure any disease. Testimonial results not typical. Your actual results may vary."

How does their spokesperson, Anna Nicole Smith describe the diet?

"I do take two pills a day to maintain, you know," Anna Nicole tells Kevin about maintaining her newly trim physique through the Trimspa plan, with which she reportedly lost 69 pounds and insists is not harmful. "You eat, like, small portions and you do it for, like, two
weeks, and also they have a colon cleanser and you're just, like, on the pot all the time, okay? You lose that weight quickly."

Sounds exciting, doesn't it?

How are these kinds of products supposedly work?
They usually contain products that speed up your metabolism. They used to use ephedra to try and do this, but I'm not sure how they're doing it now.
